“SUSTRAI” is an innovative performance that explores the interplay between past, present, and future, blending live visual arts with contemporary dance and circus. This show symbolizes the dialogue between the circus artists and the visual artist Miren Barrena—reflecting their concerns, fears, and aspirations. Each artist comes from a different background, bringing their unique stories and personal experiences. We are roots. We are symbiosis and unity. We are circus, acrobatics, dance and theater.

    A circus artist specializing in rope and duo trapeze. He tours with national and international companies, performing trapeze duos and rope solos. He is also a technique and creation instructor at various circus schools.

  • Asvin Lopez

    Trapeze Duo (Flyer)

    With over 20 years of experience as a circus professional, he is an agile acrobat and Chinese pole artist who has performed at festivals and with companies around the world.

  • Alexandre Sierra

    Acrobatic Duo and Hand-to-Hand

    A dancer and floor acrobat specializing in banquine and hand balancing. He has been involved in artistic gymnastics and dance since the age of 10.

    A multidisciplinary artist specializing in acrodance and hand balancing. She performs her own act in various circus venues.

    He competes in the BMX World Championship and works as a performer in various circus shows.

    Acrobatic Duo and Hand-to-Hand

    A contemporary dancer who has complemented her studies by specializing in circus arts at the Alicia Alonso University Institute (URJC).

  • Matthias Elgeta

    Juggling

    A multidisciplinary artist specializing in juggling and unicycling. He is also a base in banquine and hand-to-hand acts. He travels the world performing with various circus companies.

  • Dominika Kzymowska

    Aerial Silks

    A multidisciplinary aerial acrobat specializing in silks, trapeze, and hoop. She is a circus instructor and the founder of five circus schools in Poland and San Sebastián.
